The photograph was taken during a major heating pipe breach. Plumes of steam burst into the freezing-cold air. As hundreds of people got trapped in their vehicles, an elderly woman, who had probably faced worse adversities throughout her life, kept walking through the chaos as if nothing happened.
This image was awarded the main prize at the Fuji Street Photo Awards and received other awards and honours.
